What are Dealer Fees?

  1. Documentation preparation fees are fees a dealer will charge to prepare your paper work for the purchase or finance of the vehicle.
  2. Prep Fees are the small changes that the dealership needs to make so that the car can be ready for the road as soon as you get behind the wheel. The dealership gets reimbursed by the factory for these, but some dealers still charge you for it. We only charge you for the vehicle with its taxes and title.
  3. Automatic add-ons or extras are packages, including service or protection packages, that the dealership adds on without your approval. We believe that you should only pay for the options that you want, and we won't add anything extra without you saying to do so.
  4. Anything more than the price of the car, taxes and titles should always be your option, and always will be at Falcone Volkswagen. Where we never charge a dealer or doc fee...ever!
